For the 'Alice's Adventures In Wonderland' I chose to play with typography for this book cover because it was mentioned in the brief to be clever. I made the letters myself which took me a total for 4 days to create. I specifically chose the fabrics myself so it would appeal to the children audience as well as the adult audience. With the photography I originally wanted to hand the letters off a tree so it helps start the story off, but I could not find a suitable tree so I went with a very high hedge in which had a few holes through to go behind it, I thought this would be a good idea because it reminded of the White Rabbit, with Alice following him down the whole. With the rest of the typography on the front cover I did not want to stick to using a typeface on my mac, so I thought it would look even more playful illustrating the typography myself.
